    Hey everyone!

Its been a while since an actual entry, I’m sorry! :( I’ve been kinda preoccupied and busy, and whatnot, so its been a bit difficult to just sit and concentrate on something deep or interesting to say!

I would however like to ask all of you to check out my new pictures on Deviantart! :) http://grimxx.deviantart.com/ There’s the link. Check ‘em out, comment, and if you’re a premium member, leave critiques! :) I appreciate it muchly.

Check back in a week or so for a sort of ‘update’ entry.

    Peace & love,

    Steve

  8. Rest in Peace

Today was interesting in the beginning. I didn’t fall asleep until six this morning, which normally on my day off isn’t a completely bad thing; except for the fact that I had to be up at 11:30. So running on roughly five and a half hours of sleep, I got up, went with my mom to get my brother from school, which happens to be located in BFE, and then went to lunch. Om nom nom, Denny’s.

I got home, did some schoolwork and played a bit of Modern Warfare 2, and decided to take a nap. Good nap, I’d say, even though I’m still sleepy. I woke up, did what I usually do- check Facebook, and all that jazz. I get online to see a status update that I had hoped not to see- my girlfriend’s grandmother had passed away earlier this afternoon. If you don’t know the situation here’s  the rundown: she had a stroke last week while in the hospital recovering from pneumonia, and it all went downhill from there. I spent the majority of the night/morning at the hospital with Andrea, and it kind of took its toll on my mind, and here’s why:

About two years ago, my grandma (my mom’s mom) was in the exact same situation. A stroke had basically put her into a conscious-coma, and we had to let her go. I had a decent relationship with my grandma, but was so preoccupied with doing my own thing, I didn’t see her/talk to her much. I wish I had. I really do. I miss her a lot. She was a great person, a great grandma. And listening to Andrea talk about her grandma (‘Grams’ she called her) made me happy to know that even with this heartbreaking situation, Andrea had a great relationship with her.

It came down to this: if losing my grandma- with what little bit of connection we had towards the end- was bad for me, this must be TERRIBLE for Andrea. She always held her in such high regard, and I honestly wish I could have gotten to know her better, but I’m glad I could have been there at least at all.

For those of you who pray, please say a prayer for Andrea and her family. They need it. For those of you who don’t, positive thoughts/energy goes a long way.

Rest in peace, Antoinette Zura (Grams). You are loved and missed.

    Peace & love,

    Steve

p.s.- the people in your life that you love, be sure they know it. be sure they know you care. you never know what will happen one day to the next. ♥ Any messages you have to send to the family or questions for me, send them to Formspring.

  9. Me to a friend.

The good things may be worth a ton, but if the bad things, at any given moment, can outweight even one good thing- its probably not worth YOUR time, and YOUR stress, and YOUR heartache. Because, regardless of love, in the end, all we will have is ourselves.

You will know, however, that it is in fact worth it, when regardless of how hurt/upset/stressed you may feel, if one good thing about the situation shines through and can succeed in making you smile, its where you’re supposed to be.

    Peace & Love,

    sjm

[[p.s. to my readers- please please please, regardless of your beliefs or relationship with me- say a prayer tonight for my girlfriend’s family. her grandma had a stroke last week, and her family is going through alot right now, and could really use a prayer, or positive energy, or just comforting words. if you want, you can e-mail your message to her/her family directly to me at stevejmeyers[at]gmail[dot]com or send it to Formspring and I’ll be sure she gets them. thanks, and i love you all. ♥ -sjm]]
